The snow has melted (mostly)! We will be allowing players out on both the Falcon Crest and Robin Hood courses walking only. It will be a little rough this opening weekend. With the speed the snow melted we were unable to put flags and tee markers back in place.

So if you are just looking to get out and swing a club we are open. We will be charging $20 to walk Falcon Crest and $10 to walk the Robin Hood.

We should be able to get the course put back together by next weekend and offer our normal course. Until it will be great just to step foot on a golf course again!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about league. Here are some dates to keep in mind:

February 10- If you played last year you have until this date to reserve your spot before we open sign ups to everyone.

February 11 & 12 – Boise Golf Expo. We will be hoping to sign up new teams and fill out the league roster.

March 1st – League fees must be paid to hold your spot. Will move to waiting list at this time if we do not have 64 paid teams.

April 12 – First day of league

Cost is $400 per player.  This includes green and cart fees for 15 weeks ($300) and also the prize fund ($100).

With all this great weather our greens have accumulated about 1″-1 1/2″‘s of ice. While we do have some time before damage should occur we have decided to remove the snow off the top and try to get the ice layer to melt naturally. If this doesn’t happen in a week or two we will then put some black sand on top of the ice to help out. Here are a few pictures of our greens currently.

The golf shop at Falcon Crest Golf Club is now back open for business from 9 am until 5 pm daily.  Unfortunately playing actual golf may be quite some time away.

A word of caution . . . our entry road is a skating rink.  If you are looking for a gift card it would be best to either do it over the phone or from www.falconcrestgolf.com you can purchase them online.  Unless for some reason you need to make the trip to our shop I would advise against it for the time being.

We hope that spring arrives soon and golf can resume in the not too distant future.  Be  safe out there!!

Falcon Crest Golf Club

With the continuing snow and cold temps Falcon Crest Golf Shop will remained closed until Monday January 9th. Hopefully some warmer temperatures are around the corner so we can start to get some melt down here in the valley for both the side roads and for golfs sake.

Hope everyone had a great end to 2016!

We hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve! We also are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2017. Hopefully this snow starts melting sometime soon down here in the valley so we can get back to playing some golf.

Falcon Crest will be closed from December 24th until after the new year. Thanks to everyone who called Falcon Crest their home in 2016. We are looking forward to a great 2017.

We now have gift cards for purchase through our website if you need a last second gift.

You can now purchase gift cards directly from our website and new online store.  Go to www.falconcrestgolf.com/online-store/ and purchase gift cards from $50 up to $200 from the comfort of your home.  A great gift for any golfer!!

Happy Holidays to everyone.

The Treasure Valley Golf Sale at Ridgecrest GC starts today at noon and runs until 6pm and tomorrow from 10am until 4pm. 8 area courses are represented and there are some great deals to be had. Great time to start Christmas shopping.
